MOUHAMED KEBE APPOINTED AS A MEMBER OF THE ICC’S INTERNATIONAL COURT OF ARBITRATION

The International Chamber of Commerce’s (ICC’s) International Court of Arbitration is recognised as one of the world’s leading arbitration institutions.  It administers arbitrations from 3 locations (Paris, Hong Kong and New York) through a Secretariat working in 28 languages.  Court Members are experienced arbitration practitioners drawn from over 100 countries. 
The Court has appointed Mouhamed Kebe, Managing Partner of sub-Saharan law firm GENI & KEBE, as a new Member of the Court from 1 July 2017.
Mr Kebe holds a Certificate in Commercial and Investment International Arbitration from the University of London and is a chartered arbitrator before the Arbitration Court of the OHADA States.
“Strong arbitration institutions are an important factor in encouraging commercial confidence,” explains Mr Kebe.  “It is an honour to be appointed to the ICC’s International Court of Arbitration and I look forward to providing high quality and efficient service to the Court’s users.”
Mr Kebe is one of 41 new appointed members from 38 countries.  The Court’s President, Mr Alexis Mourre, notes ““The diversity of new Court members underscores our commitment to ensure the Court draws on the full range of expertise and experience found in our global network.”
